Gen & Lach were married at Leaves & Fishes, and honestly, it was one of those days that makes you slow down just by being there. Wrapped in greenery, water, and their favourite people, the day felt intimate, grounded, and quietly special from the very start.

They did things in a way that felt completely true to them - unfussy, thoughtful, and centred on connection rather than tradition for tradition’s sake. Portrait time felt more like a wander and a chat than a photoshoot, with plenty of laughter, gentle moments, and those in-between glances that don’t need direction. No rushing, no big production - just Gen & Lach being very much themselves and enjoying every second.
