Hello!

Hey! I’m Mel — and taking natural and candid photos of couples is what I love to do!

I'm passionate about helping couples get natural wedding photos that are candid and reflect their relationship, chemistry and connection.

I love being able to immerse myself into a wedding day, helping where I can, enjoying the day alongside you and gettings amongst it on the dance floor! I find that when I am ‘me’, couples and guests feel like they can also truly be themselves and it allows their personalities to come through in the photos!

I always find that guests come up and talk to me, especially the Nanna’s! I love that they feel like they can do that, and that I’m not just a wedding vendor ‘doing a job’.

I have 12 years experience in photographing weddings and have been doing this gig full time for 8 years. During that time I have been lucky enough to travel all over the East Coast of Australia capturing memories for the most beautiful people who have truly touched my heart.

Personally, I don’t take life too seriously (only coming 1st on Mario Kart!). I am pretty much always laughing, eating or talking! When I’m not photographing weddings I can be found travelling with my family, chasing after my 8-year-old son and Golden Retriever, or drinking a litre of milo at my computer while editing in my pyjamas – just kidding… or am I?
